  • Your support persons—family, friends, or partners—have a more intimate relationship with you that a doula cannot replicate or replace. While they serve as your primary comfort and support, your doula acts as an extension of your birth team, providing you and your support team with the tools and education necessary to prepare for the next part of your journey. The type of support I offer is unique to each family.

  • Anywhere between 26 - 28 weeks.

  • My clients have described me as a quiet presence, but I am also an advocate who isn’t afraid to speak up on behalf of my clients when their requests, concerns or protests are being ignored. Depending on the client and circumstance, true to my name- you will experience some variation of a mother, sister or friend vibe from me, true to my name.

  • In my home. All supplies and surfaces are disinfected before and after use. I wear gloves, a mask and goggles throughout the process for both myself and my client’s safety.

    I have been properly trained by Ashanti Rivera (Woman’s Choice Perinatal Services). I recertify with Biologix annually to stay up to date with bloodborne pathogen safety and infection control practices for placenta encapsulators in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
